Egypt Tracks New Alamein Projects, Pushes Year-Round Investment

Egypt's housing minister reviewed residential, service, and investment projects in New Alamein, stressing adherence to schedules and quality standards. The follow-up covered the T-Resident and Diarna housing projects, new investment opportunities in housing, services, and medical activities, and work on the C3 road tunnel. Officials also discussed traffic diversions during construction and efforts to make the city an active destination throughout the year.
Egypt’s housing minister examined New Alamein’s construction file, focusing on two residential schemes, T-Resident and Diarna. The review looked at outer facades, site landscaping, planting, and finishing standards, with units intended for handover to buyers on time.
It also covered investment offerings advertised from October 1–15 for housing, services, and medical uses, and the C3 tunnel at the Alexandria–Matrouh coastal road. Officials discussed closures, approved alternative routes, and signs to guide drivers safely. Architecture students from Alexandria’s fine arts faculty toured North Square, beach towers, and the tourist walkway.
The push may affect current and future residents by improving housing readiness and nearby services, while investors could gain broader options in medical and commercial activities. Road users near the C3 tunnel may face temporary diversions, though coordinated signage could reduce disruption. Year-round activity could support local jobs and businesses beyond the summer season, but outcomes depend on delivery pace and sustained demand.
