ADÉLA Brings Theatrical Pop Show to Packed Fonda Theatre
ADÉLA performed at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Oct. 8 as part of her Red Bottoms Tour. The sold-out show featured a 16-song set and followed the release of her debut album PRIMA, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200. She returns to the Fonda for a second sold-out date on Oct. 9.
The Slovak singer’s Los Angeles stop was the first of two sold-out nights at the Fonda Theatre, following her debut album PRIMA, which opened at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Her 16-song set drew on charting singles “Ain’t in LA” and “Nicole Kidman,” plus tracks including “KGB,” “Boys,” and “NastyDirtyGross.”
A trained ballerina, she built the show around movement, a hot-pink ballet rail, and pink-red lighting rather than elaborate staging. She swapped her usual unreleased “Kiss Here” for “Homewrecked,” explaining it as an apology tied to a lyric. Her 5 Gum collaboration also appeared at select tour stops.
ADÉLA’s sold-out Fonda run may strengthen her rising profile among pop fans, especially young listeners drawn to dance-heavy live performance and visual identity. Her chart success and brand tie-in could encourage more hybrid music-fashion campaigns, while her LA-themed lyric and apology may resonate with local audiences and Slovak diaspora. The stripped-back staging may also signal that emerging artists can prioritize performance over spectacle.
