Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Global Model Leaks With Snapdragon Chip and 12GB RAM

A benchmark leak indicates the global Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and 12GB of LPDDR5X memory. The global battery is expected to be 7000mAh, smaller than the 8500mAh version in China but still large for an Android flagship. Xiaomi is also adding features to improve file sharing and notification syncing with Apple devices.
The global Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has been confirmed for release outside China, and a Geekbench AI listing has now pointed to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 paired with 12GB LPDDR5X memory. Chinese buyers can choose 16GB, but it is unclear whether that option will travel internationally.
The overseas model is tipped to use a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery, down from China’s 8500mAh. Other expected carryovers include a 6.9-inch OLED display, a 2.9-inch rear OLED panel, dual 200MP cameras with 3.2x periscope telephoto, and privacy-display technology. Xiaomi also announced Apple-device sharing and notification syncing features, while HyperOS 4 is already on Chinese units.
The global launch could give Android buyers, especially frequent travelers and cross-platform households, a flagship with unusually large battery capacity and high-end camera hardware. Xiaomi’s Apple-compatible sharing and notification tools may reduce everyday friction between iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Xiaomi phones, though their impact depends on pricing and reliability. If these features work well, they may encourage more people to mix devices across ecosystems rather than feeling locked into one brand.
