Epic Games Store's Next Free Games: Agent A and Bad Cheese
The Epic Games Store's next free games will be Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Bad Cheese, available from October 15 to October 22. They will replace Out of Sight and TerraScape, which can be claimed until October 15 at 10:00am CST. The store refreshes its free game offers every Thursday.
The current Epic Games Store giveaway includes Out of Sight and TerraScape, both claimable until Thursday, October 15 at 10:00am CST. After that, Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Bad Cheese take their place through October 22. Epic refreshes these offers weekly on Thursdays.
Agent A is a 2019 indie spy puzzle adventure that received generally favorable notices. Bad Cheese is a psychological horror title with visuals echoing 1920s cartoons and had a more mixed reception. It follows System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster and Out of Sight as October 2026's third horror giveaway; the following week's lineup remains unannounced.
Epic's weekly freebies could affect budget-conscious PC players by offering no-cost entertainment and encouraging them to check the store regularly. Smaller titles like Agent A and Bad Cheese may gain visibility and new audiences through the promotion, potentially boosting wishlists or later sales. The October horror focus may also shape seasonal discovery habits, though the long-term impact on player spending and platform loyalty remains uncertain.
