Verda Healthcare and AstranaCare Launch Multi-State Care Partnership

Verda Healthcare has formed a multi-state partnership with AstranaCare Partners of Arizona and Texas, both subsidiaries of Astrana Health. The collaboration is intended to expand access to culturally responsive care in Phoenix and Greater Houston. Astrana Health's network includes more than 20,000 providers and covers over 1.6 million lives.
Verda Healthcare, founded in 2024, operates Medicare Advantage coverage aimed at Pan-Asian, Hispanic, and Arab American communities in underserved U.S. counties. Its offerings include Verda Noble Care, with annual enrollment from mid-October to early December, and Verda Noble Chronic Care, a year-round chronic-condition special needs plan.
The new alliance involves Astrana Health subsidiaries serving Arizona and Texas. Astrana Health’s network includes more than 20,000 providers and oversees over 1.6 million lives. Its Independent Physician Associations provide local support and technology intended to reduce administrative burdens, letting clinicians focus on patients. The partnership targets Phoenix and Greater Houston.
This partnership may affect Medicare Advantage members in Phoenix and Greater Houston, particularly people in Pan-Asian, Hispanic, and Arab American communities, by potentially improving access to culturally tailored care and provider networks. It could also influence how local clinicians coordinate services and reduce administrative friction. However, actual benefits depend on implementation, network participation, and whether members experience expanded choices or better outcomes.
