Solana Tops Ethereum in Weekly dApp Revenue

Solana generated $38.2 million in dApp revenue over seven days, compared with $11.7 million for Ethereum, according to Token Terminal data cited by Solana Hub. Even combining Ethereum, Base, Polygon and OP Mainnet, the total was $21.2 million, still below Solana. The ranking tracks different types of networks and platforms, so it does not compare identical blockchains.
Solana's seven-day dApp revenue reached $38.2 million, more than triple Ethereum's $11.7 million. Hyperliquid placed second at $14.8 million. Adding Ethereum, Base, Polygon and OP Mainnet still yielded only $21.2 million, leaving Solana ahead by $17 million. The list mixes blockchains, platforms and ecosystems, so it is not a like-for-like comparison.
In August 2026, Solana already led monthly dApp revenue with $143 million, about 38% of onchain totals, according to DefiLlama. Two trading terminals, Axiom and FOMO, contributed roughly $38.6 million that month. Low-cost, fast transactions and a single-chain design may help concentrate liquidity and activity.
The shift may affect crypto traders, developers and investors by shaping where activity and liquidity gather. If Solana's lead persists, lower fees and faster execution could draw more applications and users, while Ethereum's ecosystem may respond through Layer 2 growth. A single network's dominance could also raise concerns about concentration and resilience, though one week's data cannot establish a lasting trend.
