Bob's Burgers Holiday Special and Bloodaxe Lead Latest TV Premiere Announcements
Several upcoming streaming and TV premieres received dates, including a Bob's Burgers Christmas special set for Hulu on December 7. Prime Video's Bloodaxe will debut all eight episodes on January 20, 2027, while Disney+ announced more Marvel Zombies specials and a second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Apple TV's Prodigies and Netflix's The Altruists also have premiere dates.
At New York Comic-Con, Hulu set the Bob's Burgers holiday short for Dec. 7. It follows the Belchers through a record snowstorm and a giant snow fort; Season 17 arrives on Fox at midseason. Prime Video's Bloodaxe, about Erik Bloodaxe with Xavier Molyneux, drops all eight episodes Jan. 20, 2027. Disney+ returns Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Jan. 13, 2027, and plans three more Marvel Zombies two-part events across Halloweens 2027–2029.
Apple TV's Prodigies, led by Will Sharpe and Ayo Edebiri, begins Feb. 10, 2027, with two of seven episodes, then weekly through Mar. 17. Owen Wilson's Stick returns Nov. 4 with two episodes. Netflix's eight-part The Altruists, starring Anthony Boyle and Julia Garner, arrives Nov. 19.
These premiere dates could influence how households plan holiday and winter viewing, especially families drawn to Bob's Burgers and Marvel fans tracking Disney+ specials. Subscribers may weigh renewals around clustered releases, while Apple TV and Netflix use star-driven projects to attract attention. The staggered Marvel Zombies events may sustain fandom engagement over several years, though actual cultural impact will depend on reception and competition.
