Jack White surprises Nashville crowd by bringing back The Raconteurs

The Raconteurs made a surprise return during Jack White's Nashville concert on October 10, their first live performance together since 2019. The encore set included 'Steady, As She Goes,' 'Hands,' 'Level,' 'Broken Boy Soldier,' and 'Carolina Drama.' White had teased a possible surprise on social media before the show.
The Raconteurs' encore marked their first shared stage since a December 2019 Honolulu date. Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler played five songs, opening with "Steady, As She Goes" and closing with "Carolina Drama." The set came during White's second night at Nashville's new 4,400-capacity venue, The Truth.
White had hinted online that Nashville attendees might get a surprise. The group's last album, Help Us Stranger, arrived in 2019 after an 11-year gap, and they had previously reunited in April 2019 for Third Man Records' 10th anniversary. Keeler also drums in White's current solo band.
The reunion could energize longtime fans and boost interest in Nashville's new venue, The Truth, as a destination for high-profile surprise shows. It may also increase demand for Raconteurs catalog and future reunion dates, while giving White's solo tour added cultural buzz. Local businesses around the venue might see short-term spending benefits, though broader impact may remain within music communities rather than society at large.
