QNB Egypt customer deposits reach EGP 908bn by June 2026

QNB Egypt's customer deposits climbed to 908 billion Egyptian pounds at the end of June 2026, up 131 billion pounds or 17% from December 2025. The bank's loan portfolio rose by about 59 billion pounds to 526 billion pounds, while consolidated net profit reached 18.6 billion pounds in the first half of 2026. Total consolidated assets increased to 1.08 trillion pounds, and the bank operated 240 branches and 899 active ATMs.
QNB Egypt ended June 2026 with EGP 908bn in customer deposits, EGP 131bn above December 2025, a 17% rise. Loans reached EGP 526bn, adding EGP 59bn, or 13% growth. H1 2026 consolidated net profit was EGP 18.6bn, up EGP 3.5bn year on year; standalone profit was EGP 17.8bn, up 20%. Consolidated assets totaled EGP 1.08tn, up EGP 149bn or 16%.
Capital adequacy was 25.68%, non-performing loans 3.96%, and substandard-loan provision coverage 120.3%. The bank had 240 branches after two additions and 899 active ATMs. Digital channels carried about 96% of transactions; online/mobile banking reached 45% of individual customers, corporate e-services penetration was 45%, activation neared 70%, and e-wallet users rose 15%.
