China Leads October 12 Startup Funding With AI, Chips, and Robotics Deals

This funding roundup highlights investor interest in artificial intelligence, AI chips, robotics, space technology, advanced materials, and new energy. Chinese companies dominate the verified deals, led by Infinigence AI's RMB2.3 billion Series C, BlueCore Compute's nearly RMB2 billion B round, Mosi Intelligence's more than RMB1 billion Pre-A, and Fulian Integrated's nearly RMB1 billion strategic Series B. The verified total includes at least RMB6.4 billion in quantified Chinese financing, plus several hundred-million-yuan rounds and Matter Machine's £4 million pre-Series A in Britain.
The October 12 roundup centers on Chinese startups building AI infrastructure rather than consumer apps. Infinigence works on inference optimization and heterogeneous hardware; BlueCore combines server computing with AI acceleration in a RISC-V processor; Fulian makes compound-semiconductor wafers for optical links and satellite communications.
Early-stage checks also stood out. Xianyin Future raised several hundred million yuan across three rounds in four months, with Alibaba and China Mobile-linked investors in its A round. OlaDimensions, founded by a former Huawei embodied-AI researcher, and bio-materials firm Sairuike each disclosed several hundred million yuan. The verified Chinese total reached at least RMB6.4 billion. Britain’s Matter Machine added £4 million pre-Series A.
This concentration of capital in AI chips, robotics, and advanced materials could accelerate cheaper, more capable computing and automation, affecting workers, researchers, and consumers. Chinese infrastructure firms may strengthen domestic supply
