Steelers Host Veteran Linebacker Elandon Roberts
Veteran linebacker Elandon Roberts is visiting the Steelers on Monday, with a possible return to Pittsburgh. Roberts previously played for the Steelers in 2023 and 2024 and knows defensive coordinator Patrick Graham's system. He could provide depth behind starters Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson, possibly on the practice squad.
If Roberts rejoins Pittsburgh, Steelers fans and fantasy managers could see a familiar veteran added to the linebacker rotation. His presence may affect younger backups’ practice reps and special-teams opportunities. A practice-squad deal would likely carry limited broader societal impact, though it could draw local media attention and modest merchandise interest. For Roberts, it may mean continued NFL work; for the Steelers, it could provide depth insurance.
