Meta unveils Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full AI models

Meta introduced two new AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, from its Superintelligence Labs division. They are available to Muse Code subscribers, with Wonder also accessible through the Meta Model API. Meta claims the models rival offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic and plans to use Wonder in its Muse agent, though it has not shared a timeline.
Meta’s Superintelligence Labs previously released Muse Spark, its first model after the division was reorganized. The company has also introduced Muse Image and an AI agent called Muse, while investing heavily in staff and computing resources. Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full are the latest additions to that expanding portfolio.
Access begins with Muse Code subscribers. Wonder is additionally offered via Meta Model API. Meta compares the pair with systems from OpenAI and Anthropic, citing internal benchmark tests, but says little about how they compare with Google’s Gemini 4 Argon. A timeline for putting Wonder inside Muse remains unspecified.
Meta’s release may intensify competition among AI model providers, potentially giving developers and Muse Code subscribers more choices and capabilities. If Wonder later powers the Muse agent, everyday users could encounter more capable automated assistance, though reliability and privacy concerns may shape adoption. The outcome could depend on independent testing, pricing, and how Meta addresses past safety incidents involving Muse. Broader effects on labor, education, and information access remain uncertain.
