Gustaf Westman Reveals Initial Disney Homeware Designs
Swedish designer Gustaf Westman has revealed the first three items from a 35-piece Disney collection based on Mickey & Friends. The range includes a Mickey tumbler, a black ceramic cup and saucer, and a leather sofa shaped around Mickey’s silhouette. The full collection will appear at pop-ups in Paris, Tokyo, and New York before an online launch on 15 November.

The first reveal includes a €110 tumbler with ears, a €68 black ceramic cup and saucer, and a €9,250 black leather sofa whose rounded form suggests Mickey's outline. The Swedish architect-turned-designer founded his Stockholm studio in 2020 and is known for glossy, voluminous, playful work with postmodern and Memphis touches. He has worked with Ikea, Nike and Ilia, and took a research trip to Disneyland Paris for this project. Pop-ups are scheduled for Paris, Tokyo and New York before the global online release on 15 November.
