GTA 5 modded into a chaotic Rick and Morty playground

A PC Gamer writer modded GTA 5 with Rick and Morty content, adding characters, laser weapons, a flying saucer, and black-hole Poké Balls. The mods allow Trevor to transform into Rick or Morty while chaotic events unfold in Los Santos. The writer, who has never watched the show, also struggles to control the flying saucer.
PC Gamer's Joshua Wolens, in an October 12, 2026 feature, modded GTA 5 as part of a daily project to either create a PC GTA 6 or break the game. Other mods caused natural disasters, vanished exterior areas, flying cars, and a notice that the American people were wiped out. Wolens could only raise, lower, and occasionally rotate the saucer. Teleported to a rural San Andreas bar, he threw a black-hole Poké Ball, saw a tornado consume furries, and his bodyguard stuck to a wall.
