Louis Vuitton Refreshes Real Madrid Wardrobe for Second Partnership Year

Louis Vuitton has introduced new formalwear and travel pieces for Real Madrid's men's soccer team as their partnership enters a second year. The collection, designed by Pharrell Williams, includes a reversible nylon jacket with Monogram lining and a Real Madrid crest, along with sweaters, polos, belts, caps, and a cashmere coat. It draws on the Trunk Edition capsule and references the Monogram's 130th anniversary.
The second year of Vuitton’s Real Madrid tie-in also reaches the club’s women’s soccer and men’s basketball sides. New travel designs follow the Trunk Edition men’s capsule from February, while leather pieces acknowledge the Monogram’s 130th year.
The travel set includes a reversible nylon jacket with Monogram lining, an embroidered club crest and an interior label carrying both brand names. It is joined by a navy crewneck, beige polo, reversible belt and navy cap. Formalwear keeps the suit, offering a blue-and-white striped shirt or beige polo, and a cashmere coat with detachable Monogram scarf and player initials.
This collaboration may strengthen the visibility of luxury fashion within global soccer, affecting players, supporters, and consumers who follow both worlds. It could make personalized luxury services, such as Mon Monogram, more familiar to sports audiences. Since the players’ collection is not sold, the effect may be largely aspirational, shaping perceptions of athlete style and encouraging similar crossovers between fashion houses and major clubs.
