Lihi Hod Opens First U.S. Bridal Flagship in Chelsea

Israeli bridal designer Lihi Hod opened her first flagship outside Tel Aviv during New York Bridal Fashion Week. The three-story Chelsea space was designed by Yael Gutreich Oron with warm wood, cream tones, and black accents, and includes a wall of photos from Hod's 16-year career. Hod, who trained under John Galliano at Dior, also debuted her fall 2027 collection and a fragrance line, and will run the store with Spina Bride founder Giselle Dubois.
Lihi Hod, an Israeli bridal designer, studied at Shenkar College before spending a year on John Galliano’s Dior team. That experience, she has said, gave her confidence to build her own fashion world. Her new Chelsea flagship marks her first store outside Tel Aviv and opened during New York Bridal Fashion Week.
The three-level boutique, designed by Yael Gutreich Oron, uses warm wood, cream tones, black industrial-inspired accents, and olive trees. A black-and-white photo wall traces Hod’s 16-year career. She also presented her fall 2027 “Odysséey” collection, inspired by 1980s glamour, and introduced a green tea and orchid fragrance sold as perfume, candle, or diffuser. Giselle Dubois of Spina Bride will help run the store.
The opening may broaden New York bridal shoppers’ access to an international designer and could strengthen Chelsea’s luxury retail identity. Brides seeking distinctive gowns and fragrance may benefit from another luxury option, while local bridal salons and designers could face added competition. It may also raise the visibility of Israeli fashion talent in the U.S. market, though its broader social effect is likely limited to luxury bridal consumers and industry professionals.
