Black Clover Season 2 Opening Teases Yuno's Star Magic
Black Clover returned with its second season on October 3, 2026, after a five-year break. The new opening sequence previews Yuno using Star Magic, a power he will unlock during the Spade Kingdom Raid arc. Studio Pierrot is expanding the arc as Asta and Yuno reunite for the continuing story.
After a five-year hiatus, Black Clover's anime resumed on October 3, 2026. The original weekly run had ended March 30, 2021. Season 2 adapts and expands the Spade Kingdom Raid arc, with Studio Pierrot bringing Asta and Yuno back together.
The opening "Kienai Riyuu" by WANIMA, first previewed September 17, 2026, shows Yuno beside Asta. Asta appears in Devil Union, while Yuno's palm holds two stars rather than wind. This hints at Star Magic, a power tied to Yuno's hidden true affinity, beyond his Four-Leaf Grimoire and earlier Wind Magic.
The return of Black Clover could reignite anime fandom conversations, especially among longtime viewers and manga readers. Anime-only fans may find the opening's Star Magic tease sparks speculation and spoiler avoidance. Streaming platforms and studios may see renewed engagement around the series, while the expanded Spade Kingdom arc could draw new viewers into the franchise.
