ITW Asia Preview: Telecom Insights and Research Guide

TeleGeography has published a guide for the upcoming ITW Asia conference, scheduled for December 1–3, 2026, in Singapore. The event will bring together carriers, cloud providers, data center operators, satellite companies, and investors to discuss subsea cables, AI data centers, cybersecurity, and network-as-a-service. The guide also points to TeleGeography research on submarine cable economics, Asian IP transit pricing, international bandwidth growth, and cloud infrastructure expansion in Asia.
ITW Asia is scheduled for December 1–3, 2026, at the Shangri-La in Singapore. The event targets telecom carriers, network operators, cloud and content firms, data center companies, satellite players, and investment groups. Its agenda covers undersea connectivity growth, AI-focused data center development, security, and network-as-a-service.
The guide highlights studies on undersea cable business models, IP transit rates in Asia, growth in cross-border bandwidth, cloud buildouts, and dedicated internet access pricing. One figure: cross-border internet capacity reached 2,259 Tbps, reflecting a 23% four-year compound annual growth rate. Another finding: surveyed WAN managers said DIA connected 53.88% of their sites on average.
The conference and research could shape how telecom operators, cloud providers, data center firms, and investors plan capacity and pricing across Asia. Better data on undersea cables, bandwidth, and cloud growth may influence where connectivity is built and how resilient networks become. For consumers and businesses, that could mean changing internet costs, service availability, and digital access
