Tommy Hilfiger and Cadillac F1 Launch Austin-Themed Fanwear Line

Tommy Hilfiger and Cadillac Formula 1 have released an Austin-inspired fanwear capsule ahead of the city’s October Grand Prix. The collection reworks Tommy Hilfiger staples with western details such as light-washed denim, silver foil accents, and cowboy hats, and its campaign features Cadillac F1 driver Valtteri Bottas. It is part of a city capsule series that also includes Miami and Mexico, with Las Vegas planned for November, and the Austin pieces launched on October 13 online and in select stores.
The capsule belongs to a wider city-themed series from Tommy Hilfiger and Cadillac Formula 1. Miami and Mexico were previous inspirations, and a Las Vegas version is expected in November. Austin’s drop became available on October 13 via the brand’s website and selected shops.
Design chief Lee Holman explained that the process started with a denim jacket and white T-shirt, then adapted them to Austin’s personality while keeping the brand’s American style codes. Cadillac F1’s Cassidy Towriss framed the line as fan apparel for race weekend that can also be worn beyond the paddock. Campaign photos place driver Valtteri Bottas at sunset with a chevron-patterned U.S. flag graphic.
This collaboration may extend Formula 1’s growing cultural reach into fashion and lifestyle audiences, especially younger fans and casual shoppers who follow driver-led campaigns. Austin residents and local retailers could see modest race-weekend visibility, while collectors of team merchandise may gain another city-specific option. The western-inflected pieces may also reinforce how sports partnerships blend regional identity with global brand marketing, though the actual social effect likely remains limited to consumer trends and fan engagement.
