Jensen Ackles' Tracker Comeback and Mayfair Witches Season 3 Get Premiere Dates
Jensen Ackles will return as Russell Shaw in Tracker Season 4, Episode 5, airing November 1 on CBS. The episode involves a kidnapping tied to a military contractor and a cover-up that brings Colter and Russell together. Other scheduling updates include Disney's live-action Moana arriving October 21, Netflix's Minimum Wage premiering October 26, and new seasons of St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins on November 2.
Ackles’ Russell Shaw resurfaces in Tracker’s fourth season, episode five, “Need to Know,” on CBS at 9:30/8:30c November 1. The case begins with a military contractor’s kidnapped wife and daughter; Colter probes it, finds Russell chasing a linked lead, and the siblings unite against a cover-up.
Russell’s last appearance came in the Season 3 finale, after a covert-program bargain secured protection and a file about his father. The showrunner has said he hopes Ackles returns for more episodes, possibly tied to Mel’s mother’s unsolved murder. Other dates include Moana (Oct. 21), Minimum Wage (Oct. 26), and Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven (Dec. 30).
These announcements may give viewers several appointment-TV moments, especially fans of Ackles and genre series. CBS could see a ratings lift from the Tracker reunion, while Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV, and AMC may use their dates to attract subscribers and sustain conversation. The crowded November–December window could also intensify competition for attention, affecting how audiences choose what to watch and how platforms promote their shows.
