The agreement was signed by Zerotech chairman Atef Abu Hashem and Kidde Global Solutions/GST Middle East and Africa general manager Hassan Faiq Hussein. It aims to broaden the Egyptian market’s safety and security offerings and make advanced fire detection and early warning technologies available to projects and facilities across sectors.
The cooperation includes UL-certified fire alarm systems and targets commercial, industrial, and administrative projects. After signing, a Kidde delegation inspected Zerotech’s production lines, manufacturing stages, testing, and quality-control procedures. Zerotech says the deal fits its strategy of partnering with global brands to strengthen competitiveness and meet rising demand for reliable systems.
The deal may improve access to certified fire detection and early warning systems for Egyptian commercial, industrial, and administrative facilities. Building owners, workers, and visitors could benefit from earlier alerts and more reliable safety infrastructure. Local integrators and manufacturers may face stronger competition or partnership opportunities. If adoption grows, emergency preparedness and code compliance could improve, though actual impact depends on installation, maintenance, and enforcement.
