Metric Launches BNB Chain DEX for Tokenized US Stocks and ETFs

Metric has launched a decentralized exchange on BNB Chain for bStocks, BEP-20 tokens that represent US stocks and ETFs, allowing users to swap them and provide liquidity. The exchange uses a propAMM model with external oracles such as Chainlink Data Streams to anchor pool prices to off-chain market rates, and its contracts run on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Robinhood Chain. Metric reported more than $10 billion in cumulative trading volume before going public with the DEX launches.
Metric’s new venue gives BNB Chain traders a way to exchange bStocks and supply them to liquidity pools. These tokens are BEP-20 representations of US equities and ETFs. The exchange’s contracts are deployed on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Robinhood Chain.
Rather than relying solely on pool balances, Metric’s propAMM uses outside price feeds, including Chainlink Data Streams, to tie pool quotes to off-chain market levels. bStocks debuted in June 2026 with custody from BTech Holdings Ltd., a Binance group affiliate, and by July represented roughly 85% of tokenized equity DEX volume. Metric reported over $10 billion cumulative volume before disclosing its DEX launches.
Tokenized US equities on BNB Chain could give crypto-native traders and DeFi users another way to gain exposure to stocks and ETFs, potentially outside traditional brokerage hours or rails. Liquidity providers and developers may benefit if these assets integrate with existing protocols. At the same time, reliance on external oracles, regulated custody, and evolving rules may expose users to pricing, operational, and compliance risks. The broader effect may depend on whether tokenized equities become widely composable or remain a niche trading product.
