A limited-edition 4K Steelbook for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey can now be reserved through Amazon. The two-disc package is set to arrive on November 17, 2026, and will include twelve behind-the-scenes featurettes that Nolan personally supervised, covering multiple areas of the production.
The film features Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong’o, Samantha Morton, and Himesh Patel, among others. It performed strongly in theaters and was positioned as a major awards contender ahead of the 2027 Oscars. Notably, Nolan’s preferred translator disliked his interpretation.
This home release could extend the film’s cultural reach beyond theaters, letting fans and home-cinema enthusiasts study Nolan’s craft through the featurettes. Awards attention may keep The Odyssey in public conversation, potentially benefiting cast, crew, and physical-media retailers. For audiences who missed it on the big screen, the Steelbook may offer a second chance to engage with Homer’s story through a contemporary blockbuster lens.
