Enliven Therapeutics Adds Kristine Ball to Board Before Phase 3 CML Trial

Enliven Therapeutics appointed Kristine Ball to its board of directors. The company is preparing to launch a pivotal Phase 3 trial of relcobatinib before the end of 2026 for chronic myeloid leukemia. Ball brings more than 20 years of executive experience in biopharma, including finance and commercial readiness.
Enliven Therapeutics named Kristine Ball to its board, effective immediately. She has spent over two decades in biopharma leadership, with roles including CEO positions at Antiva Biosciences and Soteria Biotherapeutics, plus senior finance and strategy posts at Menlo Therapeutics and Relypsa. She also chairs Oruka Therapeutics’ audit committee and previously served on boards of Atreca and Forty Seven.
The company is readying a pivotal Phase 3 study of relcobatinib (ELVN-001) in previously treated chronic myeloid leukemia before the end of 2026. Enliven recently said the FDA agreed on the ENABLE-2 trial’s final design. Ball cited a family member’s CML experience as a personal motivation.
If relcobatinib advances, patients with previously treated CML could gain another potential option, and their families may benefit from added hope and treatment choice. Enliven’s board addition may strengthen commercial and financial planning, which could affect investors, employees, and partners as the company moves toward late-stage development. Any societal effect remains uncertain until trial results and regulatory decisions clarify safety, efficacy, access, and affordability.
