Five Emerging Talents Shaping Collectible Design at PAD London 2026

PAD London 2026 is highlighting five emerging names in collectible design. The featured makers work across ceramics, wood, bronze, and resin, combining personal and cultural histories with ancestral craft and material experimentation. The article profiles Noe Kuremoto, Manuel Bano, Adriana Meunié, Seungjin Yang, and Lukas Wegwerth and Corinna Dehn.
PAD London returns for its 18th edition at Berkeley Square, running 13–18 October 2026, pairing contemporary collectible design with historical pieces and drawing international collectors. The fair’s five highlighted makers span ceramics, wood, bronze and resin, linking cultural memory, ancestral techniques and material testing.
Noe Kuremoto, a London-based Japanese ceramicist, presents black stoneware and unglazed works inspired by Japanese folklore, calligraphy and Jōmon-era vessels. Mexico-based Manuel Bano began his evolving OBJ collection during the pandemic; a laser-cutter constraint led to the OBJ-01 table lamp, later joined by seating and lighting in stainless steel, brass and oxidised steel.
The fair’s focus on emerging makers could broaden public awareness of collectible design, drawing new collectors and museum audiences toward ceramics, wood, bronze and resin. It may also create commercial opportunities for the featured artists and smaller galleries, while encouraging cross-cultural appreciation of ancestral craft. For local design communities and students, seeing diverse global practices validated on an international platform could inspire new material research and career paths.
