EXPANDED:
Dopamine Chamber is Fontaines D.C.'s fifth full-length, issued in 2026 on XL and categorized as rock. The Irish group includes frontman Grian Chatten, bassist Conor Deegan, and bandmates Conor Curley, Tom Coll, and Carlos O'Connell. Its 2024 predecessor, Romance, found commercial success in the UK and Ireland while moving away from the band's earlier post-punk style toward Britpop, Lana Del Rey, and the Cure influences.
The new record follows 2022's Skinty Fia and features lead single "Marianne." Deegan has linked its origins to the question of where one escapes. Chatten's lyrics explore distraction, vice, and numbness, while the music aims for a grand, seductive stadium scale
