Sadie Dickerson will step back into Just In Time as Sandra Dee for a Nov. 10–29 run, sharing the stage with Nicholas Christopher’s Bobby Darin. Before her return, company swing Tristen Buettel takes over Oct. 20–Nov. 8 opposite Matthew Morrison. Carrie St. Louis exits Oct. 18 for DOLLY: A True Original Musical, while Whitney Leavitt is scheduled Dec. 1–Jan. 10, 2027.
Dickerson first appeared on Broadway in this production and will also be seen in Prime Video’s Rose Hill. Buettel’s stage résumé includes Boop! The Musical, Bad Cinderella, and Jersey Boys off-Broadway and on tour. Alex Timbers directs the musical, which uses a live band and Bobby Darin standards.
The rotating Sandra Dee casting may keep Just In Time in conversation among Broadway audiences and fans of the performers, potentially drawing repeat ticket buyers and social-media attention. For the production, these transitions could test how smoothly a musical sustains momentum when a featured role changes several times. Theatergoers who follow Dickerson, Buettel, or Leavitt may plan trips around specific dates, while the wider industry may watch whether such casting shifts broaden the show’s reach.
