A$AP Rocky Releases Psychedelic Video for Long-Awaited 'Shroom Clouds'
A$AP Rocky has shared a music video for 'Shroom Clouds,' a track he first performed live in 2021. Directed by Rocky, Aisulton Seitov, and Pietro Biz Biasia, the clip moves from a psychedelic nature scene back to a New York City stoop. The song includes contributions from Reggie and Jeremih and will appear on Disc 2 of the Don't Be Dumb deluxe edition.
The long-gestating song arrived last week before this video. Rocky had previewed it under a different title in 2021 at a Weedmaps 4/20 gathering, then offered a snippet at Governors Ball and later during an Amazon Music Live appearance in 2022. Reggie handles chorus and bridge; Jeremih closes the track.
The visual, co-directed by Rocky, Aisulton Seitov, and Pietro Biz Biasia, begins in a whimsical natural setting before resolving into a stoop in New York City. The cut will sit on Disc 2 of the Don't Be Dumb deluxe edition.
The release may mainly resonate with Rocky's fans and hip-hop/psychedelic music listeners, giving them a long-awaited track and a visually distinctive companion. Its placement on a deluxe edition could extend interest in Don't Be Dumb and drive streaming or video views. Collaborators Reggie and Jeremih may gain exposure. The trippy nature-to-city concept could also shape visual trends in music videos, though its broader cultural reach remains uncertain.
