Binance destroys $1.2B in BNB while launching AI trading assistant

Binance completed its 37th quarterly BNB burn, permanently removing 1,646,196 tokens valued at roughly $1.197 billion. The exchange also introduced Binance AI Pro, a tool that lets users create and test trading strategies in natural language and practice with paper trading. The burn is part of a long-term effort to reduce BNB's total supply to 100 million tokens.
Binance's latest quarterly auto-burn removed 1,646,196 BNB, about $1.197 billion, marking the 37th such event. The mechanism uses BSC Auto-Burn and Gas Burn, adjusting token destruction according to BNB's price and blocks generated during the quarter. After this, circulating supply stands at 131,512,085 BNB, moving toward a 100 million target.
Separately, CEO Richard Teng introduced Binance AI Pro. It lets users describe strategies in everyday language, converts those prompts into runnable algorithms, and offers paper trading so ideas can be tested before real funds are used. Binance says no coding or separate registration is needed.
This dual move may affect crypto traders, developers, and retail investors by lowering barriers to automated strategy creation while reinforcing BNB scarcity. Easier AI-assisted paper trading could encourage experimentation, but may also raise expectations about performance or automation risks. Market observers might view supply reductions as a signal of long-term tokenomics, though actual societal effects depend on adoption, regulation, and user understanding.
