Daytona Reaches $1B Valuation With $60M Series B for AI Agent Infrastructure

Daytona raised $60 million in Series B funding at a $1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to $91 million. FirstMark led the round, with participation from prominent founders and Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next, and Okta Ventures. The company provides secure computing environments for autonomous AI agents used by OpenAI, Anthropic, Nvidia, Meta, and others, and its revenue run rate rose 25-fold from January to September.
Daytona was founded in 2023 by Ivan Burazin, Goran Draganić, and Vedran Jukić. It began by automating software development environments, then pivoted toward infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. Its sandboxes are isolated virtual computers that can be created in milliseconds and run across Linux, Windows, and macOS.
Customers include Cursor, Cognition, Cohere, Mercor, Handshake, Postman, n8n, Clay, Snorkel, and Trajectory. Daytona says Snorkel created over one million sandboxes and cut evaluation cycles by 96%, while Trajectory reduced environment startup from 30 minutes to seconds.
Daytona’s growth could affect developers, AI labs, and businesses deploying agents by making isolated execution environments easier to scale. That may speed automation of coding and software tasks, changing how teams allocate engineering work. It could also raise security and oversight questions, since more autonomous agents may operate with broader access to digital systems. Smaller firms may benefit from lower infrastructure barriers, while dependence on a few infrastructure providers may grow.
