Apple Distributes Near-Final Builds for Watch, TV, and Vision Software

Apple has released release candidate versions of watchOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2 to registered developers. These builds arrive with new developer betas for Apple's desktop and mobile operating systems. A release candidate is a near-final build that may become the public version if no critical issues are found.
Apple’s latest developer drop covers watchOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2 at the release-candidate stage. It also includes fresh betas for iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and macOS Golden Gate 27.2, keeping testing aligned across device categories.
The candidate builds came a week after the fourth developer betas. Apple treats an RC as a near-final test version: developers can check app compatibility, and Apple can issue a revised build if serious defects appear before public release.
The near-final builds could give developers a brief final window to catch app compatibility problems before public rollout. Users of watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS devices may receive updates sooner if no critical issues emerge, while simultaneous testing across Apple platforms may help cross-device features behave more consistently. If serious defects surface, release could be delayed or require another candidate build.
