Christian Nationalist Event Promises Plan to Take Political Power

Pastor Joel Webbon is promoting a November conference in Texas featuring white Christian nationalists and conspiracy theorists, including Alex Jones. Webbon said the event will help the movement take political control and that a speaker will unveil a detailed plan for doing so. He also warned Republicans to adopt the group’s agenda or be replaced.
The November gathering in Texas, billed “Christ Is King: America After Trump,” is promoted by pastor Joel Webbon and includes Alex Jones, James Fishback, Dale Partridge, Calvin Robinson, Brian Sauvé and Eric Conn. Organizers say sessions will address Christian nationalism, patriarchy, “race realism,” and claims of Jewish supremacy. Fishback is expected to present a detailed political strategy for right-wing Christian nationalists seeking governmental control.
Webbon has previously urged severe penalties for homosexuality, called for military action against churches displaying Pride flags or led by women, and said masculine men would forcibly end democracy to install theocratic rule. He also called for executing U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. He warned Republicans to accept the conference agenda or face replacement.
The conference could intensify rhetoric that affects Jewish, LGBTQ+, and other minority communities, and may pressure Republican officials to accommodate a Christian-nationalist agenda. Its emphasis on a political takeover plan could heighten concerns about democratic norms and embolden local activists; however, actual impact depends on attendance, media reach, and whether mainstream institutions reject or amplify the event.
