Snoh Aalegra Announces Legendary Love, Shares New Track

Snoh Aalegra will release her first album in five years, Legendary Love, on November 13. The new single “I Love You” features Nile Rodgers on guitar and Raphael Saadiq on bass, with a video directed by Alfred Marroquín. Aalegra described the record as exploring love, memory, and the music that shaped her.
Legendary Love is set for November 13 through Stem and marks Snoh Aalegra’s first full-length project in five years. The lead single “I Love You” pairs her with guitarist Nile Rodgers and bassist Raphael Saadiq; Alfred Marroquín directed its video. Aalegra co-wrote the track with Joel Compass and co-produced it alongside Compass and Josh Grant.
The song arrives shortly after “Karma,” her first release in three years. Her previous album was Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies. In remarks about the record, the Iranian Swedish artist said it revisits the music she grew up loving and reflects on love, memory, and personal change.
The release could draw longtime R&B listeners and fans of Rodgers and Saadiq, giving the album a broader crossover audience. Aalegra’s return after a five-year gap may intensify anticipation among followers of alternative R&B and soul, while the star collaborators could introduce her to older listeners. Its themes of love and memory may also resonate with audiences seeking nostalgic, emotionally reflective music. Commercially, the single and video could shape how the album is received, though impact will depend on listener response and promotion.
