Los Gemelos de Sinaloa on Their New Label and U.S. Tour

Los Gemelos de Sinaloa are Mexican American twin brothers who have built momentum with their album 'The Gemeliza' and a hit called 'Ferrari.' After working with several labels, they are now backed by Fuerza Regida's Jesús Ortiz Paz and preparing their first U.S. tour. The duo says their music covers a wide range of emotions and experiences.
Twin brothers Juan Moises “Gemelo” Cardenas and Robert “Temu” Cardenas grew up in Paramount, California, while their parents live in Sinaloa. Their mother’s unrealized singing dreams led her to surround them with music. Gemelo’s 2014 televised talent-contest appearance prompted the pair to form Los Gemelos de Sinaloa.
After earlier releases and label changes, including a split from Rancho Humilde, they joined Jesús Ortiz Paz’s Street Mob Records for management. Their album The Gemeliza has Gemelo writing and co-producing corridos, sierreño, and norteño, with Ortiz Paz on several tracks. “Ferrari,” with Fuerza Regida and Clave Especial, topped Billboard’s Hot Regional Mexican Songs chart.
The duo’s planned U.S. tour and Street Mob backing could broaden their reach among Mexican American and regional Mexican listeners, while their family-rooted story may resonate with young bilingual fans. Their mix of corridos, sierreño, and norteño might encourage crossover curiosity and illustrate how label partnerships can shape rising acts’ careers. Any broader impact remains uncertain and may depend on tour reception, future releases, and how audiences respond to their emotional range.
