Oppo Find X10 review: a cheaper flagship with trade-offs

The standard Oppo Find X10 offers strong cameras, solid performance, good battery life, and polished software at a lower price than the Pro Max. It makes compromises in the ultrawide and telephoto cameras and has a smaller battery in Europe. The reviewer sees it as a capable all-rounder for buyers who do not need the top model.
The standard Find X10 sits below the Pro Max, and Oppo has not released a separate Pro model this year. It retains several top-model features in a slightly smaller body and costs £1,099 in the reviewed version. Versus the Pro Max, its ultrawide camera is weaker, the telephoto has reductions, and performance is lower.
It weighs 216g and measures 156.51 × 74.29 × 8.35mm, with IP68/IP69 protection, sculpted glass, and matte aluminium sides. Colour choices are Glacier Blue, Mist Grey and Glow Coral. A Snap Key mimics Apple’s Action Button, but there is no touch-sensitive Camera Control. Oppo bundles a TPU case and fitted screen protector.
The Find X10 could appeal to buyers who want flagship-style cameras and software without paying the Pro Max price, potentially widening access to advanced mobile photography. Its compromises may matter most to ultrawide and telephoto enthusiasts, while European buyers may weigh the smaller battery against travel needs. If such models sell well, manufacturers may feel more pressure to offer lower-cost flagships with clearly explained trade-offs, though the £1,099 price may still limit uptake.
