Revenue was $206 million, down from $257 million, with $102 million of mine operating cash flow. Quarterly all-in sustaining costs were $2,805 per gold-equivalent ounce. Period-end holdings were $440 million in cash and bullion plus $19 million in listed investments. Alkane paid a 2-cent maiden dividend, approved a $50 million buyback, kept FY27 guidance at 163–177koz and $2,900–$3,200/oz, and expects $55–60 million of FY26 tax payments in December.
The update may reassure shareholders and lenders about Alkane's cash generation and capital returns, while the buyback and dividend could affect how investors view the company. Employees, suppliers and host communities around Tomingley and Costerfield could be affected by production and cost trends, and the expected tax payment may matter to public finances. However
