EXPANDED:
Set Active, headquartered in Los Angeles, has converted its Austin pop-up on South Congress Avenue into a permanent fourth store. The activewear label also has flagships in New York and Los Angeles and added a Chicago West Loop location in September. CEO Lindsay Carter said the Austin shop reached its June sales target in two days and spurred Texas customer growth above other regions.
Stores are tailored to local identity: Austin incorporates Western-style accents, while Chicago leans into a vintage lakeside-cottage mood. Both carry merchandise sold only in person. Set Active reports that physical shops attract a larger proportion of brand newcomers
