Raffles Family Office targets Asia's crypto-rich with stablecoin wealth services

Raffles Family Office is expanding its digital-asset offering for wealthy clients in Asia who hold fortunes in stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies. Its Revo unit, launched in 2022, received Hong Kong licenses in February to manage digital assets alongside traditional portfolios. The firm's CEO says traditional banks are often unprepared for clients arriving with large stablecoin holdings.
Raffles Family Office, based in Singapore and Hong Kong, created its Revo division in 2022 to serve digital-asset clients. In February, Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission granted Revo licenses for professional portfolio management covering both crypto and conventional holdings. CEO Chi-Man Kwan says a client might arrive with $100 million in stablecoins, a situation he argues most local banks are not equipped to handle.
The firm’s push reflects broader wealth trends. A 2026 Ocorian survey found 86% of family-office principals and senior executives include crypto in investment strategies. Greater China now has 1,110 of the world’s 4,020 billionaires, according to Hurun, and RFO serves clients in six Asian cities while also expanding into Rwanda.
The move could normalize crypto-linked wealth management for affluent clients, giving stablecoin holders more options while raising expectations for banks and advisers. It may widen the gap between investors served by specialist firms and those relying on mainstream institutions, as regulators face pressure to clarify reporting and custody rules. Greater institutional comfort with digital assets could improve confidence and access, though risks around volatility and compliance may persist.
