AYN’s Odin 3 Portal Combines a 7-Inch OLED Screen With Ergonomic Grips

AYN has opened preorders for the Odin 3 Portal, an Android gaming handheld with a 7-inch 1080p OLED display and 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Q8 processor with active cooling, Android 15, and a 9,000mAh battery supporting 60W charging. The device offers up to 1TB storage and 16GB RAM, plus a microSD slot and Hall-effect sticks.
AYN is taking preorders for the Odin 3 Portal, with shipments expected in early November 2026. The base model costs $399 and includes 128GB storage plus 12GB RAM; the $669 version raises those figures to 1TB and 16GB. Both share the same display and processor, and a microSD slot allows expansion. No games are bundled.
The handheld weighs about 15.9 ounces and has a rear grille for its active cooling. Its controls include Hall-effect sticks, a dome-shaped D-pad, and textured shoulder buttons. Color options are Black, White, and Cold Grey, the last with purple buttons.
The Odin 3 Portal could appeal to mobile gamers who want a larger OLED display and physical controls without carrying a console. Its price range may make high-refresh Android gaming more accessible to some buyers, while the top model could attract users with large libraries. Because it ships without games, newcomers may face extra setup and software costs. Its weight and cooling needs may limit comfort for long sessions, affecting how often people use it outside the home.
