Balchem Matches Q3 Estimates With Broad Segment Gains

Balchem reported Q3 2026 adjusted EPS of $1.57, slightly above consensus, while revenue of $290.7 million came in about 1.5% below estimates. All three business segments grew, and free cash flow was $57.9 million with a higher gross margin.
Balchem’s third-quarter 2026 adjusted EPS was $1.57, just above analyst consensus of $1.5657, while revenue reached a record $290.7 million, about 1.5% below the $295.0 million estimate. GAAP EPS rose to $1.46 from $1.24 a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA increased 12.4% to $80.3 million.
All three segments expanded: Human Nutrition and Health sales rose 8.1% to $188.2 million; Animal Nutrition and Health sales climbed 11.7% to $63.0 million; Specialty Products sales increased 4.5% to $37.3 million. Gross margin improved to 36.4%, free cash flow was $57.9 million, and net earnings rose 16.0% to $46.7 million.
Balchem’s in-line quarter and broad segment growth may reassure investors and support continued spending on operations, which could affect employees, suppliers, and customers tied to nutrition, animal health, and specialty products. Stronger cash flow and low leverage could give management room for buybacks, capital projects, or acquisitions, potentially influencing local employment and supply chains. Because results were close to forecasts, wider societal effects are likely limited and indirect.
