Former HFZ executive relists Marquand penthouse for $27.5M

Ziel Feldman and his wife Helene have listed their 6,200-square-foot triplex at the Marquand for $27.5 million, or about $4,435 per square foot. Feldman had tried to sell the Upper East Side penthouse in 2020 for $39 million without success. A corporate entity connected to Feldman acquired the unit in 2018, according to property records.
Ziel Feldman, formerly an executive at HFZ, and his wife Helene are again offering their triplex at the Marquand. The 6,200-square-foot residence carries a $27.5 million asking price, equal to roughly $4,435 a square foot.
The Upper East Side penthouse was previously marketed in 2020 at $39 million but did not sell. Property records show a corporate entity tied to Feldman bought the unit in 2018.
The relisting may serve as a visible test of demand at the top of Manhattan’s housing market. Buyers, sellers, brokers, and lenders could read the outcome as a signal about luxury pricing and negotiation room. Nearby owners may also watch comparable sales when valuing their properties. Because the unit is unusual in size and price, its effect on the broader market may be limited, but it could still shape perceptions of how quickly high-end listings are moving.
