Dead by Daylight Is Pulling Chucky From Stores Next Month

Behaviour Interactive will remove the Chucky Chapter from Dead by Daylight’s in-game and first-party stores on November 24, 2026. Anyone who already bought the Killer, cosmetics, or related content can still use it, and the character will continue receiving bug fixes. A 50% off last-chance sale starts October 26.
Behaviour Interactive will stop selling the Chucky Chapter through in-game and first-party stores on Nov. 24, 2026. Buyers retain access, the Killer remains eligible for bug fixes, and no additional add-ons are planned. A 50%-off sale runs from Oct. 26 until removal.
Chucky arrived in 2023 as The Good Guy. Dead by Daylight previously withdrew Pinhead in 2025 and Michael Myers in January 2026. Fans often suspect licensing causes such removals, particularly when new Hellraiser or Halloween games surface. Stranger Things content was pulled and then returned in 2023.
The change may mainly affect current players and collectors: newcomers could lose a chance to buy Chucky, while existing owners keep access. Because fewer players may own the Killer, matches might feature it less often, slightly reducing variety for survivors. The sale could soften disappointment, but the removal may add to broader concerns about digital games and licensed content disappearing from storefronts over time.
