Brookstone Capital Management's third-quarter 13F showed a 51.6% increase in its Micron position. The manager added 20,369 shares, finishing with 59,878 shares valued at $63,777,000; Micron was about 0.6% of its portfolio and its 29th-largest holding.
Other institutions also adjusted Micron exposure: SeaCrest, Virtue, Legacy, NBT Bank and Root reported increases or new stakes. Institutional investors held 80.84% of shares. Micron recently posted quarterly EPS of $33.42 on $54.23 billion revenue and declared a $0.15 dividend.
The stake change is small relative to Micron's market value, so its direct social effect may be limited. Still, shifts by large institutional holders could influence share-price volatility, which may affect retirement savers and funds with Micron exposure. Semiconductor supply and pricing decisions could also touch electronics users and workers, though this filing alone does not show such outcomes.
