Oracle Marketplace Updates Target ISV Growth and Co-Selling
Oracle upgraded its Marketplace with expanded Universal Credits, new co-selling capabilities, private offers, and metered billing. The changes are designed to help independent software vendors reach Oracle customers, work with Oracle sellers, and simplify purchasing. Small businesses can also apply more of their existing cloud budgets toward partner solutions.
Oracle introduced the changes at its AI World gathering in Las Vegas. The Marketplace now lets eligible ISVs work alongside Oracle sales staff through Private Offers Co-Sell, while customers can direct a larger share of qualifying Universal Credits toward partner products. New private-offer negotiations and usage-based metered billing add purchasing choices.
The company also widened Marketplace coverage to sectors such as health, retail, and hospitality, and to markets including India and Japan. Multi-Party Private Offers in some countries let ISVs team with resellers. Fortinet and Pipefy welcomed the update, according to the article.
The changes could make it easier for smaller software firms to reach larger Oracle customers and for buyers to use existing cloud commitments on partner tools.
