Ralph Lauren Celebrates 60 Years With Tokyo PoloFest

Ralph Lauren is marking its 60th anniversary with PoloFest, a three-day event in Tokyo's Jing Harajuku area beginning October 23. The gathering will feature vintage sellers and panel discussions with fashion writers, editors, designers, and stylists. The activation follows the brand's Spring/Summer 2027 runway show and underscores its longstanding popularity in Japan.
Ralph Lauren began with men’s accessories in 1967 and has since become a global label with famous admirers including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Anne Hathaway, Laura Dern, and Colman Domingo. PoloFest, running three days from Friday, Oct. 23, will occupy a dedicated space in Jing Harajuku within Tokyo’s Shibuya district.
The event follows the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 show at New York Fashion Week in September, which featured leather jackets, tailored blazers, crisp shirts, and distressed denim. Polo entered Japan in 1976, and Tokyo now draws both shoppers seeking new pieces and collectors hunting archival items. PoloFest will host vintage sellers and discussions with fashion writers, editors, designers, founders, stylists, and influencers.
PoloFest may strengthen Ralph Lauren’s cultural relevance among Japanese consumers and archival-fashion collectors, while giving local vintage sellers and fashion voices a visible platform. It could also draw international attention to Tokyo’s Harajuku retail scene and encourage other heritage brands to stage anniversary events there. Fans unable to attend may experience the event through social media and coverage, shaping perceptions of the brand’s legacy and resale value.
