Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Headline August PlayStation Plus Lineup
Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for August 2026, featuring Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and Vampire Survivors as headliners. The titles will be available to subscribers later this month.
Sony's rollout for August features a staggered schedule, with most titles arriving globally on August 18. However, several games—including Hell is Us, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2—face a one-week delay to August 25 specifically for subscribers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.
The lineup also includes retro offerings like Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Notably, Helldivers 2's immediate availability coincides with a significant content update and a Warhammer 40,000 crossover Warbond.
The staggered release schedule could create uneven access for subscribers across different regions, potentially leading to frustration among US, UK, and Japanese players. However, the inclusion of major titles like Helldivers 2 may significantly boost PlayStation Plus retention and attract new subscribers. For smaller games, this exposure could expand their audience, while the concurrent Helldivers update might reinvigorate its player community.
