Belkin introduces three earphone models, including kids' ANC headphones
Belkin unveiled three new audio products at IFA: the SoundForm Isolate earbuds with 45dB noise cancellation and 32-hour battery life, the SoundForm Dot earbuds in ANC and standard versions, and the SoundForm Play ANC headphones designed for children with a volume limiter. The Isolate costs $60, the Dot starts at $35, and the Play is $50, all available this month.
The SoundForm Isolate earbuds lead Belkin’s new range, featuring the brand’s strongest noise cancellation to date—reducing ambient sound by up to 45 decibels. They include three sizes of both wing tips and ear tips for a secure fit, plus IPX5 water resistance and Bluetooth Multipoint for dual-device pairing. A 10-minute charge yields 90 minutes of playback, with total battery life reaching 32 hours.
The SoundForm Dot earbuds come in two versions, with the ANC model priced $5 higher than the standard one. Both share a 30-hour battery and app-based equalizer customization. The SoundForm Play ANC headphones target children aged 5 and up, offering a volume limiter capped at 85 decibels, a 45-hour battery with ANC active, wired listening via a 3.5mm cable, and Rockstar Mode for shared audio. All three products launch this month.
Belkin’s expansion into budget-friendly, feature-rich audio could intensify competition in the mid-tier earbud and kids’ headphone markets. Parents may benefit from affordable ANC options with safety-focused volume limits, potentially encouraging healthier listening habits for children. However, the proliferation of low-cost wireless devices may also raise concerns about e-waste and battery longevity, as consumers upgrade more frequently.
