Croatia has submitted Hana Jušić's film 'God Will Not Help' for the Best International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards. Jušić previously directed the acclaimed 2016 debut 'Quit Staring at My Plate' and several short films.

Jušić's career includes the award-winning 2016 feature "Quit Staring at My Plate," along with collaborative work on "Transmania" and several short films such as "Terrarium" and "No Wolf Has A House." Her selection marks her second solo directorial effort to gain international recognition.
