Panamanian filmmaker Abner Benaim has joined as co-director of the upcoming series 'School of the Americas'. The show will star Chilean actors Daniela Vega and Alfredo Castro. It has been selected for the Co-Production and Financing Forum at Iberseries & Platino Industria.
The upcoming series unites a Panamanian helmer with two prominent Chilean performers. Benaim, recognized for his feature 'Plaza Catedral', will split directorial duties. Vega, an Oscar winner for 'A Fantastic Woman', and Castro, a frequent collaborator of Pablo Larrain, are set to star.
