Soul Glo Unveils New LP and Shares Collaborative Single with Mannequin Pussy
Philadelphia hardcore band Soul Glo will release their album Na I’m Gon Grab Allat on January 15 via Epitaph, marking their first full-length since 2022. The record features guest appearances from MIKE, Bbymutha, Tunde Adebimpe, and Eugene Robinson, among others. A new track, “February Theory,” with Mannequin Pussy, arrives alongside a music video directed by Robert Silverstein.
The upcoming LP was captured at Philadelphia's Foto Club alongside longtime producer Evan Bernard. Frontman Pierce Jordan dedicates the record to individuals who have experienced love in all its forms, while the tracklist includes four separate songs titled "Resentment."
Since their last album, the act has performed at Coachella, became the first hardcore band to deliver an NPR Tiny Desk set, and released a System of a Down cover. The new video for "February Theory" features a hot dog brawl, a chaotic church service, and literal can-kicking.
This release could further cement Soul Glo's crossover appeal within the broader alternative music landscape. By pairing introspective themes of love and resentment with high-profile guest features, the album may attract listeners who typically avoid hardcore. The collaborative single with Mannequin Pussy could also expand both bands' audiences, potentially leading to increased festival bookings and greater visibility for the Philadelphia scene.
